What is MachouKid®?

MachouKid® is a soft, comfortable mouthpiece. Nowadays, soft foods, prolonged sucking, stress, etc. are all factors that lead to medical consultations in adolescence.
Children often suffer from back pain (posture), sleep problems, snoring, bruxism… The origins can be jaw misalignment, mouth breathing, inefficient chewing and a poorly positioned tongue. MachouKid® will help prevent these problems.

What does it do?

The MachouKid® mouthpiece acts by enabling the child to :

• reposition of the jaws,
• improve nasal breathing
• acquire good swallowing habits
• widen the palate to give the permanent teeth their rightful place. MachouKid® can be used as part of a comprehensive treatment program (speech therapy, osteopathy, chiropractic, dental surgery, orthodontics, etc.).

How does it work?

MachouKid® is invented and patented by a dentist. Its soft, non-thermoformed silicone mouthpiece adapts to all mouths. The positioning of the tongue on the tongue rest stops addiction to sucking.

Will MachouKid® align my teeth?

Thanks to its standard shape and buccal plane, MachouKid® helps your teeth to balance by protecting them from the forward thrust of your tongue. The tongue will be re-educated in a raised position. With each swallow, the tongue spreads out in contact with the molars, helping to expand the palate. The smooth surface of MachouKid® allows your teeth to move, a process known as natural tooth alignment.

How can I protect my teeth from grinding?

Teeth grinding often becomes pathological, leading to headaches, dental pain, tooth loss or fracture, damaged gums and neck pain. MachouKid® is a double mouthpiece that prevents antagonistic teeth from touching. It is made of medical silicone (biocompatible) with a hardness of 50 shores to protect teeth. If you grind or clench your teeth at night, MachouKid® will absorb the shocks gently and painlessly, relieving tension.
